Our annual best-ball fun tournament was held on Sunday, August 22 and was another successful event with 120 golfers, despite the wet conditions and the downpour for the final two holes that most teams played through. Thanks to the numerous individuals and corporate sponsors who donated prizes to the event.
Special thanks to Chris Ross, Tony Mrasek and Ed Vonda for organizing the event. After seven years, Tony and Ed are stepping down as tournament organizers so if this great event is to continue in 2011, additional volunteers will be needed. Contact Chris Ross if you are interested (no previous golf torunament experience is required).
